- The name of this site in English would be 'The shell of the Great A'Tuin'. It has a quick intro to Terry Pratchett and his work, interviews and press appearances. Also includes book annotations, a character guide. High quality work. They explain the editions in Spain and talks about the books that haven't been translated into spanish as well as explaining non discworld books and works related to them such as the Mort play and the RPG of Discworld. Also a list of the short stories of Pratchett and quotes from his books. They have links to the Klatchian Foreign Legion, sites where you can buy Discworld merchandising, organisations supported by Pratchett (animal defense, etc), news (available), a very interesting download section, the "Cripple Mr Onion" card game, fan art, descriptions of the PC games, links to published essays, a forum and general links. The language that is used in the site is sometimes too 'españolizado', by which I mean that they use a lot of words that only those who live in Spain can understand (I lived there a few years ago so I do understand them) but for a foreign reader, it may be a little tricky. However it is one of the best sites I have ever seen, not only about Pratchett but in general about anything. It doesn't even have too many pop-ups.
Excelente página, información muy completa y actualizada. Una pequeña intro sobre Pratchett y su obra, biografía, entrevistas y apariciones en la prensa. También hay una sección muy interesante acerca de los libros de Pratchett; tanto de Mundo Disco como otros, y lo más importante es que tiene anotaciones sobre cada libro de Mundo Disco donde cuentan la historia detrás de los personajes y de algunos chistes. También una guía de personajes. Trabajo de alta calidad. Reseñas sobre las ediciones en España y aquellos no traducidos al español. También habla sobre libros que no son de Mundo disco y trabajos relacionados con ellos como la obra teatral de Mort y el juego de rol de Mundo Disco. También hay una lista de historias cortas de Pratchett y citas de sus libros. Tienen enlaces a la Legión Extranjera de Klatch y páginas donde puedes comprar objetos relacionados con Mundo Disco, Organizaciones apoyadas por Pratchett (defensa de animales, etc), noticias (actualizadas) y una seccion de descargas muy interesante donde puedes encontrar las imágenes de la página y un montón de otras cosas de mundo disco. En la página puedes encontrar el juego Criple Mr Onion, dibujos hechos por fanáticos, descripciones de los juegos para PC, enlaces para ensayos publicados en otras partes, un foro y enlaces en general. Una de las mejores páginas que he visto nunca, no sólo sobre Pratchett sino en general sobre cualquier cosa. No tiene demasiados pop-ups o ventanas molestas que aparecen de repente.
