It all comes down to what you think of reality as. YOU probably think of it as the dimensions you live in, which is accurate enough... for you. There are... Things in other dimensions, however, who look in on our reality and see it as an exclusive club. And they want in. Not particularly well assembled, but with more than enough tentacles and eyes to make up, they get in any way they can...
