The little death

Having failed to be suitable for any other job, Mort finally became apprenticed to the ultimate job. Ultimate, in that it is the last job that anyone ever needs doing.

Following in the skeletal footprints of Death, Mort slowly took on the role of the Grim Reaper, but with his own sense of justice and injustice. After threatening the fabric of reality, he finally played the last game against Death, and we're not talking about chess here.
